1 1/2 oz. cream
1 oz. vodka
1/4 oz. crème de cacao (brown)
1 barspoon powdered sugar
Shake over ice cubes in a shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Again, I forgot to ask what vodka Ryan used, but I’m pretty sure it was whatever they have in their well, which is a pretty high-quality well. For the most part, this is a Vodka Alexander with a little less crème de cacao and the addition of powdered sugar. There wasn’t enough added sugar to really add much more sweetness, but it did create a lovely layer of foam on top. The vodka was neutral, as expected. Like the other Alexanders I’ve tried, this is a lovely dessert-type drink.
