1 egg yolk
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1 1/2 oz. ruby port
1/4 oz. brandy
Shake well over ice in a shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Christian Brothers’ brandy and Dow’s ruby port. This was a bit dessert-y, but not quite so much as an Alexander. The combination gave the impression of chocolate, almost chocolate covered raisins. Overall a very tasty drink to end an evening with.
