An interesting article I ran across about “lost” whiskeys:
June 26, 2014 – The Republic Steakhouse
3/4 oz. lemon juice
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1 3/4 oz. Bourbon
Shake well over ice in a shaker. Strain into a sour glass and garnish with cherry.
Maker’s Mark Bourbon. Another garden party drink, but really quite nice. This is very much like a whiskey sour, with the grenadine adding a touch of fruity sweetness. Also, very pretty to look at.
