Aperol Schumann’s (Charles Schumann, 1991)
3/4 oz. lemon juice
3/4 oz. Rose’s Lime juice
1 1/2 oz. Aperol
1 1/4 oz. orange juice
Shake well over ice. Strain into a small highball glass over crushed ice and fill with orange juice.
Another lovely summery drink! Ryan substituted the bar’s own lime syrup instead of Rose’s. Aperol has a wonderful balanced grapefruit flavor that’s just slightly bitter. The drink on the whole was both sweet and tart in equal measures and very refreshing.
