3/4 oz. dry vermouth
3/4 oz. gin
Dashes Pernod

Stir over ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Plymouth Original gin and Dolin dry vermouth. My my my… it’s amazing how a little Pernod goes a LONG, long way. The first flavor when this cocktail is sipped is licorice. Then the floral, herbal gin and vermouth come through. As expected, there’s a tiny bit of boozy heat, but not much, as well as a little hint of bitterness. This could be considered a very light martini.
