Dash lemon juice
3/4 oz. white rum
3/4 oz. dark rum
Stir first five ingredients well over ice in large highball glass. Fill with cola.
Pernod, Pritchard’s Crystal white rum, and Meyer’s Orignal dark rum. This cocktail offers an interesting play between the cola and the anise of the Pernod. The rum seemed to boost the caramel of the cola, or maybe vice versa. Ryan and I agreed that this drink was tasted like one of those inexpensive grocery store brands of cola or an off-brand from Mexico.
