3/4 oz. dry vermouth
Dashes vermouth bianco (or vermouth rosso)
1 oz. gin
Stir well with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Squeeze lemon twist over drink and drop into glass.
Plymouth Navy Strength gin, Dolin dry vermouth and dashes of Carpano Antica vermouth rosso. The dry vermouth comes through strong, so there are a lot of herbal notes and just a hint of bitter. There is a tiny bit of fruit, that might be from the rosso, but I’m not sure there’s enough in there for me to actually taste; might be a mind thing.
