1/4 oz. lemon juice
Dash sugar syrup
3/4 oz. vodka
Shake first four ingredients well with ice in a shaker. Strain into a Champagne flute and fill with Champagne.
Tito’s handcrafted Texas vodka and Gruet sparkling white wine. Vodka, of course, has no real flavor, although Tito’s is better than most. It still doesn’t mask the sparkling wine’s usual muskiness. There some slight fruitiness from the grenadine and tartness from the lemon juice. Yet another drink in the “Good, but not remarkable” category.
