1 1/2 oz. cream
1/4 oz. blue curaçao
3/4 oz. tequila
Shake over ice in a shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Hussong’s tequila. My first reaction to this one was “Huh… that’s odd.” The tequila really came through, which perhaps wasn’t such a good thing. It might have been better to choose a more neutral tequila. The Galliano offered it’s usual mildly anise-herbal touch, but the curaçao was pretty much lost other than its pale blue hue. I was also expecting this to be sweeter, like most of the other cream-based cocktails.
