Corpse Reviver No. 3 

3/4 oz. brandy
3/4 oz. Fernet Branca
3/4 oz. crème de menthe (white)

Stir over ice cubes in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and serve with a glass of ice water.

Christian Brothers brandy. Okay… now THIS I might have in the morning after a bender, simply because I can relate mint with toothpaste. I’ve come to really love Fernet (specifically Leopold Brothers Highland Amaro) as a shot at the end of the evening, and when mixed with crème de methe, just enough of the bitterness comes off to make it play very well with the brandy’s warm, dried fruit kick.
