Stormy Weather (Charles Schumann, 1980)
3/4 Fernet Branca
3/4 oz. dry vermouth
1/4 oz. crème de menthe (white)
Stir well over crushed ice or ice cubes in a small highball glass.
Dolin dry vermouth. This cocktail was light and much less sweet than I thought it would be. The vermouth adds a little herbal bitterness that cuts through the double mint whammy of the Fernet and crème de menthe. A very short drink, but quite tasty.
