3/4 oz. dry vermouth
3/4 oz. vermouth rosso
1 oz. white rum
Dashes of Angostura bitters
Stir well over ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with the cherry.
Prichard’s Crystal rum, Dolin dry vermouth, Carpano Antica vermouth rosso. The rosso was WAY up front on the first sip, which is nice, because I love Antica, but that was all I could taste really. A decent cocktail, but not all that remarkable.
I get to debut new glassware! Wade (the chef/owner) noticed that there were only a handful of different types of glassware on the blog. He got a couple of new styles to try out, and this is one of them. I really like the way it feels in the hand; something about how it rounds in instead of out like the usual coupes.
