1 1/2 oz. pineapple juice
Dash Angostura bitters
1 1/2 oz. brandy
Shake well with ice in a shaker. Strain into small highball glass over ice.
Christian Brothers brandy. I continue to be delighted by pineapple juice when it occasionally shows up in a cocktail. Something somewhat magical happens to pineapple when combined with things you wouldn’t ordinarily think of as going with it. In this case, the brandy’s rich dried fruit flavor rounds out the sweetness, while the Angostura’s warm spices and slight bitterness emphasize the tropical vibe. Tasty!
