July 9, 2015 – The Republic Steakhouse
1/4 oz. lemon juice
Dash sugar syrup
3/4 oz. gin
Shake first four ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain into a Champagne flute and fill with Champagne.
Plymouth Navy Strength gin, Gruet sparkling white wine. Barely pink from the grenadine (now made in house… YEY!) and piney from the gin, this cocktail still has that tell-tale mustiness that I just can’t seem to get behind. Like the other Frenchies I’ve tried (68 and 76), I think that if you like Champers, you’ll like this drink.
