3/4 oz. lemon juice
3/4 oz. Rose’s lime juice
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1 oz. dark rum
3/4 oz. white rum
Shake well with crushed ice in a shaker. Strain into a small highball glass over crushed ice. Squeeze lime into drink and drop it into the glass.
Meyer’s dark rum, Flor de Caña white rum. One of my favorite cocktail names. If ever a cocktail needed to be served with a little paper umbrella by a pool boy named Fernando, this would be it. The quintessential beach drink, this is perfectly balanced between sweet and tart with lovely caramel undertones.
