1 oz. lemon juice
1/4 oz. sugar syrup
1 barspoon powdered sugar
2 oz. gin
Shake first four ingredients well over ice in a shaker. Strain into a collins glass filled with ice. Fill with soda.
Plymouth navy strength gin. This drink is mostly a Tom Collins. I’m not sure why the powdered sugar is there, but hey… this is research. Like Tom, this cocktail is bright and sweet/tart with a lovely herbal and pine backbone. A solid cocktail.
