Egg Sour

Egg Sour

1/4 oz. lemon juice
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
3/4 oz. triple sec
1 oz. brandy
Stemmed cherry

Shake well over ice in a shaker. Strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes (or into a sour glass without ice). Add cherry.

Christian Brothers brandy. I was expecting something on the dessert side of the spectrum; this isn’t that rich. I’d explain this to someone as a frothy, thick lemonade with a nice kick. Very tasty!
