Royal Gin Fizz
1 oz. lemon juice
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1/4 oz. simple syrup
2 oz. gin
Shake first five ingredients well with ice in a shaker. Strain into a collins glass with ice and fill with Champagne.
Plymouth Navy Strength gin, Gruet sparkling white wine. Floral, smooth, and light. The navy strength gin is a bit strong; the next time I think I’ll go with a Nolet or Austin Reserve.
