Goldie (Charles Schumman, 1984)

1/4 oz. cream
1 1/2 oz. milk
3/4 oz. orange juice
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1 1/2 oz. dark rum
1/4 oz. Galliano
Orange peel

Heat in a heat-resistant glass, add orange peel.

Myer’s dark rum. Wow! This drink packs a punch. It was not as orangey as I thought it would be, but that was a good thing. Creamy without being thick, Christmasy without the spice. This is a wonderful cold-weather sipper.
