3/4 oz. lemon juice
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1/4 oz. sugar syrup
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
Shake well with ice in a shaker. Strain into a sour glass and add cherry.
Baker’s Bourbon. This cocktail is one of the all time classics, and for good reason. Bourbon and lemon have always really liked each other. The bright, tangy citrus and rich carmely Bourbon prop each other up in the nicest of ways. Baker’s is a bit on the high (proof) side, but in a simple cocktail like this, it pays to go with the good stuff.
