1 1/2 oz. gin
1/4 oz. crème de menthe (green)

Stir well with crushed ice a small highball glass. Squeeze lime wedge over drink and drop into glass.

Hayman’s London Dry gin. The Greenback is very much like the other gin/crème de menthe drinks I’ve had lately, although the lime makes a difference. The oil from the peel adds a bit more bitterness to that of the gin. There is a slight mintyness that comes across as more herbal than sweet. I rather liked this one a bit more than the others. Also, like the others, the fake-looking green is a bit of a put-off for me. I’d rather it just be “white”.
