Dashes of fino sherry
1 1/2 oz. gin
Stir well with ice a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Twist lemon peel over glass and drop into drink.
Plymouth Navy Strenth gin, Tio Pepe fino sherry. It’s a good thing I like gin. I think the navy strength overpowered the sherry; I’ll try it with just a standard gin next time. The sherry stands in for vermouth, giving the drink a lighter feel without the added herbal bitterness.
