Deep-Sea Diver

Juice of a lime
1/4 oz. lime syrup
1 barspoon powdered sugar
1/4 to 3/4 oz. triple sec
3/4 oz. white rum
2 oz. dark rum
2 oz. high-proof dark rum

Shake well with crushed ice in a shaker. Strain into a large highball glass over crushed ice. Drop squeezed lime into glass.

Bacardi white rum, Meyer’s dark rum, Bacardi 151 high-proof rum. Whooo! This was my first cocktail of the night, and very nearly my last. With almost 5 whole ounces of alcohol, this drink packs a wallop but in the nicest way. The mixture of rums are lovely; warm and caramely. Great tart/sweet balance with a slight bitterness from the lime wedge garnish.
