3/4 oz. gin
3/4 oz. brandy
1/4 oz. apricot brandy
Stir with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
The Botanist gin, Christian Brothers brandy, DeKuyper apricot-flavored brandy. The second cocktail using the newly acquired “apricot brandy” is a lovely cocktail in which the apricot flavor actually comes through. The sweet stone fruit plays nicely with the herbal, bitter gin and the brandy adds some depth and warmth. This would be a very nice before-dinner drink.
