3/4 oz. dry vermouth
Dashes of apricot brandy
Dash of triple sec
3/4 oz. gin
Lemon peel

Stir in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, twist lemon peel over drink, and drop in.

Plymouth (not Navy Strength) gin, DeKuyper apricot-flavored brandy, Dolin dry vermouth. There is a lovely interaction between the apricot brandy and the triple sec that I can’t quite put my finger on. I went with the standard gin thinking the navy strength would overpower things, but I think it would have held up fine; the standard gin is a little lost. Overall, a rather soft cocktail that went down nicely.
