Lemonade Golden

Lemonade Golden

1 1/2 oz. lemon juice
1 egg yolk
Sugar syrup (or sugar)

Shake first three ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain into a large highball glass over ice and fill with soda.

Lovely and smooth with good body and sweet/tart balance. I’m not sure what the social application of this cocktail would be (the yolk is odd), but it’s a nice drink nonetheless. Ryan tasted it and pronounced it “liquid lemon meringue”.

乾杯 (kanpai) – lit. “dry glass” (Japanese)
