Juice of half a lime
1 1/2 oz. tequila
1/4 oz. crème de menthe (green)
Pour first three ingredients over crushed ice in a small highball glass. Drop squeezed lime into the glass. Add soda.
Tempus Fugit crème de menthe, Republic Plata tequila. Surprisingly, this is a rather dry cocktail. I would have thought the mint would make things a bit sweet. Overall, I like this more than I thought I would. I’m not a fan of tequila, but it’s usual funk is tempered by the mint in a pleasant way.
